Dr. Peterson went to school at Mukwonago High School, Winona State University, and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She likes dentistry because she enjoys meeting people, helping them feel better and assisting them in creating and maintaining healthy mouths and smiles. When you meet Dr. Peterson you will find, "I like to joke around and keep things feeling relaxed and fun."

Dr. Peterson has had a long career in dentistry. She started as a dental assistant in high school and college (1993-1995) and has practiced dentistry in Winona MN, Kenosha WI, and Wauwatosa WI before coming to Sussex, WI. Dr. Peterson is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) , the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA).

Dr. Peterson has one 9 year old cat, Tucker. She enjoys crocheting, kayaking, shopping, reading, and spending time with friends and family, including her boyfriend Rick. Rick helped her get the office ready to open and designed her logo. Dr. Peterson appreciated Rick's help in selecting colors and styles for the new office.

Her favorite TV shows include: LOST, Ugly Betty, General Hospital, and silly reality shows like Rock of Love, Wife Swap, SuperNanny, and Dancing with the Stars. You can frequently find Dr. Peterson singing or whistling along with the songs on the radio while working on patients. Musically Dr. Peterson really enjoys Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, as well as Michael Buble, classic rock, Chris Isaak, John Mayer, Indigo Girls. She even has four different Elvis scrub shirts that she sports at the practice!
